1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By engaging Vector Movers NJ for moving services, requesting a quote, or using our website, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vector Movers NJ (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services or website.

3. SERVICES PROVIDED
Vector Movers NJ provides the following moving and related services:
- Residential moving (local and long-distance)
- Commercial and office relocations
- Packing and unpacking services
- Specialty item moving (pianos, fine art, antiques)
- Storage services (up to 30 days at no cost)
- Packing supplies and materials
All services are subject to availability and these Terms.
4. ESTIMATES AND PRICING
4.1 Estimates
- All estimates are provided free of charge
- Estimates are based on information provided by the Customer
- We provide 93% accurate estimates when complete and accurate information is provided
- Final pricing may vary based on actual conditions and inventory
4.2 Pricing Structure
- Local Moves: Charged on an hourly basis with a minimum charge. Flat rate prices provide upon request
- Long-Distance Moves: Charged based on weight, fuel cost, distance, and services requested
- Additional Services: Packing, storage, and specialty services charged separately
- All prices include: labor, equipment, basic moving supplies specified in your quote, gas, and standard State regulated basic liability insurance
4.3 Payment Terms
- Deposit: May be required to secure moving date (typically 10-25% of total estimate)
- Payment Methods: Cash, certified check, major credit cards accepted
- Final Payment: Due around 30 mins upon completion of services
- No Hidden Fees: All charges will be clearly itemized and disclosed upfront
5. BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICIES
5.1 Booking
- Moving dates are reserved upon receipt of signed agreement and deposit (if required)
- We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance during peak season
- Peak season rates may apply (May-September)
5.2 Cancellation Policies
Cancellation policies vary by booking date and season:
Flexible Policy (Off-peak dates):
- 100% deposit refund with 72 hours’ notice
- No rescheduling fee with 48 hours’ notice
Standard Policy (Regular dates):
- 100% deposit refund with 48 hours’ notice
- $100 rescheduling fee with less than 48 hours’ notice
Peak Season Policy (May-September):
- Deposit non-refundable with less than 7 days’ notice
- $100 rescheduling fee with less than 7 days’ notice
Long-Distance Moves:
- Deposit non-refundable with less than 7 days’ notice
- $149 rescheduling fee with less than 7 days’ notice
5.3 Weather and Force Majeure
- Moves may be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions at no charge
- Company not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control
6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
6.1 Preparation
- Provide accurate inventory and access information
- Disconnect appliances and prepare items for moving
- Arrange for parking permits if required
- Be present or have authorized representative available during move
- Provide clear and safe access to both locations
6.2 Prohibited Items
Customer agrees not to ship:
- Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials
- Perishable food items
- Plants (for long-distance moves)
- Important documents, jewelry, or irreplaceable items
- Illegal substances or contraband
6.3 Disclosure
- Customer must disclose all relevant information affecting the move
- Failure to disclose may result in additional charges or service refusal
7. LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
7.1 Company Insurance
- We carry comprehensive liability and cargo insurance
- Basic coverage included at no additional cost
- Full replacement value protection available for additional fee
7.2 Limitation of Liability
- For local moves: Liability limited to $1 per pound per item unless full value protection purchased
- For interstate moves: Governed by federal regulations
- Company not liable for damage due to normal wear, inherent defect, or pre-existing damage
- Maximum liability shall not exceed the total cost of services provided
7.3 Claims Process
- Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours
- Written notice required within 1 month/s for interstate moves
- Customer responsible for proving extent of loss or damage
8. CONDUCT AND CONDITIONS
8.1 Access and Conditions
- Customer must provide safe, adequate access to both locations
- Stairs, elevators, long carries may result in additional charges
- Parking must be available within 50 feet when possible
8.2 Delays and Additional Time
- If move exceeds estimated time due to undisclosed conditions, additional charges apply
- Overtime rates may apply for moves extending beyond normal business hours
8.3 Professional Conduct
- Our employees are background-checked and professionally trained
- Any concerns about employee conduct should be reported immediately
- We reserve the right to refuse service for safety or security reasons
9. DISPUTES AND RESOLUTION
9.1 Dispute Resolution
- Good faith effort to resolve disputes directly with Company first
- Disputes subject to binding arbitration if not resolved
- New Jersey law governs all disputes
- Venue for legal proceedings: Union or Hudson Counties, New Jersey
9.2 Complaints
- File complaints with NJ Division of Consumer Affairs if unresolved
- Interstate moves subject to federal complaint procedures
10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
10.1 Information Collection
- We collect information necessary to provide moving services
- Information may include contact details, inventory, and payment information
- We do not sell or share personal information with third parties
10.2 Data Security
- Reasonable measures taken to protect customer information
- Information retained only as long as necessary for business purposes
11. WEBSITE TERMS
11.1 Use of Website
- Website provided for informational purposes and service booking
- Prohibited uses include: harmful activities, spam, unauthorized access
- Company reserves right to modify or discontinue website features
11.2 Intellectual Property
- All website content, logos, and materials are Company property
- Customers granted limited license for personal use only

- Customer may not assign rights under this agreement
- Company may assign agreement with notice to Customer
